SEPTEMBER BULLETIN
COVID 19 update
We are currently in level 2.
Consistent with prior Covid disruption, our events will only proceed if we can fully comply with Alert Level restrictions. When commitments have to be made in advance of an event (eg ordering food), we need to cancel/postpone in advance. For this reason we had to postpone our French Quiz . We will advise a new date once we have more certainty. We will continue to run Conversation Evening on Zoom on Mondays. We will try and keep you updated as Government announcements are made. We appreciate this is an uncertain time, please make contact with us if you need any assistace. |
With our current Co-"vide" alert level, we are unable to meet up in person so for those who would still like to continue to speak French you can Zoom in between 5:00-6:00pm each Monday.
How to Zoom in: You need to sign up for free on Zoom first: https://zoom.us/ To join on the day, log in to Zoom and click "Join a Meeting" and enter the Meeting ID and Passcode in the picture. On a PC: Once you click this a window will pop up that will say “Open Zoom” this then opens the meeting link. You then need to select “Join with Computer Audio” To activate your video camera you will need to click on the “Start Video” button on the bottom left so it no longer has a red line through it. Make sure your sound is on…et voilà! Any queries to James Donaldson our social media coordinator Email directly to: jkdonaldson@yahoo.co.nz |
