Café-Croissant will be on Saturday 1st August. We will be meeting at 9:30am at No.5 Café & Larder near Hastings. There is a lot of parking available and 9 holes of golf, if you want to try that!
It's a great opportunity for breakfast and chat in French, Frenglish or French. There will be a French speaking part of the table avec un petit drapeau français! August's film
This month's film is a light-hearted French comedy and is the 20th anniversary screening of a film about friendship. We start each Ciné-Club in the cinema entry foyer from 6:00pm. Focal Point will be selling $10 glasses of wine and providing complimentary bread and cheese. The film starts at 6:30pm and supper is available afterwards at Pipi's café (please note on your registration if interested) Tuesday 11 August, Focal Point Cinema, Havelock North. Our Fête Nationale was on Tuesday 14th July at the Hawke's Bay Club, Napier from 6:00pm. We had a fun evening in this venue which is new to us. The meals were delicious and a big thanks - un grand merci to Barbara and Paula who organised the venue and menu and Yann who did this year's toast where he talked about his memories of this day in his home city of Saint Nazaire
