M - 107 minutes Comedy French with English subtitles The masterminds behind The Intouchables are back with C'est la Vie, a charming comedy hit. Max is a wedding planner and close to retirement, he takes on a job in a 17th century château. As the celebration gets underway everything goes wrong. Can Max and his team pull things together to make this party memorable for all the right reasons? The Colours of Time /La venue de l'Avenir
The hit of this year’s French Film Festival is back!
Director Cedric Klapisch (The Spanish Apartment trilogy) has crafted a genuine crowd-pleaser that blends the excitement, wonder and art of Belle Epoque France with present day themes around identity, legacy and connection. In 1895, young Adele (Suzanne Lindon) leaves Normandy for Paris, a city alive and buzzing with invention, photography and the rise of Impressionism. |
This year's festival is at MTG Century Cinema in Napier. Click on the film's slide for further information.
These are the films that are in French. There are a lot more as well. International Film Festival : du 27 août au 6 septembre
