Here is our fun summer event early in 2022!
Join us for a gourmet picnic in a mystery location.
Dress in bleu blanc et rouge (blue, white and red) and BYO picnic, drinks and picnic gear.
The evening includes dessert, activities, prizes, laughter and interaction!
The mystery location will be unveiled on the day, via text and email.
Suitable for all ages - children, family and friends are welcome.

Félicitations et bon courage! Carole Couture-Brieu has been our lesson coordinator for nearly 3 years (2 years 3 months) and has been involved in our French lessons for 5 years. As many of you may be aware, Carole has been completing her studies to become a secondary school Learning Languages teacher. Carole has recently accepted a job in Masterton. |

Hastings Library: historically used for the AGM and other large events
Decision process
Your committee has considered this issue and agreed the following;
French lessons: My Vaccine Pass required
Pique-nique français:
Orange = no Vaccine Pass required (limit 50 person)
Red = My Vaccine Pass required (refunds for those affected)
Gatsby Picnic: requirements will be dictated by the venue
Other events: A decision needs to be made at the AGM on whether My Vaccine Pass requirements are introduced for our other events & activities.
The options are:
100%: My Vaccine Pass requirement for all activities and events
Partial: My Vaccine Pass requirement is determined per event/activity dependent on the traffic light colour and expected number of participants
Nil: No My Vaccine Pass requirements, instead participants will be restricted by RSVP to ensure we observe capacity limits.
Note where our venue requires a My Vaccine Pass we need to comply
We are seeking feedback from the members via a survey. The survey outcomes will be summarised and used to formulate a notice of motion for the Annual General Meeting.

Our events have come to an end for 2021 but if you have any queries these will be forwarded to Diana as secretary and lesson queries will be forwarded to Jennifer as the new lesson coordinator.
Membership 2022 can be paid any time from 1 January 2022. Wishing you Meilleurs voeux! - Seasons Greetings!

The final curtain has come down on the 2021 Ciné-Club at Events Cinema.The committee would like to thank members for their support, Di for coordinating RSVPs and collecting money, James for selecting and organising the movies, Belinda (and helpers) for selling wine and Roger and Ian for co-ordinating with the ever-helpful and supportive Michael and his team at Event Cinemas.

February's film
Meet in the cinema from 6pm. At Alert level 2, masks are compulsory in the public areas of Events Cinema, but may be removed once inside Cinema 2 (private event). We will be serving $5 glasses of Beach House wine and complimentary bread and cheese. The film starts at 6:30pm and supper is available afterwards at Pipi's cafe. Please notify Di if you are interested. Tuesday 8 February 2022 at 6:00pm Event Cinemas, Havelock North. Members $10; Other $15
