Café-Croissant will be on Saturday 2 November. We will be meeting at 9:30am at TBC near tbc. There is good parking in front of cafe & golf course.
It's a great opportunity for breakfast and chat in French, Frenglish or French. There will be a French speaking part of the table avec un petit drapeau français! November's film
November's big film is a "based on a true story". This is our final evening for 2024! We start each Ciné-Club in the cinema entry foyer from 6:00pm. We will be serving $5 glasses of Beach House wine and complimentary bread and cheese. The film starts at 6:30pm and supper is available afterwards at Pipi's café (please note on your registration if interested) Tuesday 12th November, Event Cinemas, Havelock North. Cost: Members $10; Other $15 Les Folies fermières Country Cabaret (2022) M 109 minutes Comedy French with English subtitles "Hard work and big ideas aren't enough. David's dairy farm is on the brink of liquidation. When he chances upon a dazzling nightclub performance by Bonnie Starlight, inspiration strikes. What if he turned his big old barn into a country cabaret? Not just for entertainment, but to promote local food producers, including his mother's delicious cheese. A crazy plan, for sure - which is exactly why he loves it!"
