AFHB’s version of Beaujolais nouveau with our new event le Rosé nouveau! Taste a selection of new Hawke's Bay rosés and finger food from our local artisans in at Unison Vineyard. Wine by the glass and other alcoholic/non alcoholic drinks will be available for separate purchase. Friday 11 November is when we will be holding our next film evening in Central Hawkes Bay. The film will be about the ups and downs of life in rural France as well as about living in the country.
Au Nom de la Terre - In the Name of the Land (2019) is based on the life of the director's father. The main character returns to rural France after seeing the world and settles down to the realities of rural life. Once again suggested $10 koha with any profits going to the Rural Trust East Coast. La Rotisserie food truck will be there with duck and chicken meal options. See their menu.

Berets on Bicycles – Le Tour de Taradale
Meet 11:00am for 11:15am departure. Join us on a gentle ride suitable for all ages to discover the beautiful landscapes of Hawke’s Bay on two wheels - « à deux roues » Meet at the car park in front of Pettigrew Green Arena and we will head on the trail to Puketapu Pub for lunch, return on the trail the other side of the river and a slight detour for a wine tasting at Church Road Winery. BYO Bike and Beret! Cost: $10 members, ($15 non-members) includes wine tasting at Church Road, otherwise purchase own drinks and food (Puketapu Pub and Church Road) |
November's Café-Croissant will be held at a Hygge at Clifton Bay, Clifton Road, Te Awanga on Saturday 5th November at 9:30am.
