April's Café-Croissant's venue is Peak House, Havelock North. It will be on Saturday 1st April at 9:30am.
Why not come along and enjoy good coffee and croissants? It's a great opportunity for an Autumn breakfast and chat in French, Frenglish or French. RSVP by Thursday 30th March and include whether you would like croissants. Notre "Café-Croissant" vous permet de rencontrer des francophiles tout en prenant le petit-déjeuner ! |
Friday 19 May is the altered date for our next film evening in Central Hawkes Bay. We have chosen a classic French film.
Milou en mai - May Fools (1990) Comedy Drama Madame Vieuzac has just passed away in her house in Southwestern France, far from the hue and cry of Paris in May, 1968. Her son, Milou, who has always lived with his mother, summons the rest of the family for the funeral... Once again suggested $10 koha with any profits going to My Food Basket CHB. We are hoping to have a Food Truck so you can buy dinner! |
"Louis Malle's "May Fools" has a quality of mellow contentment. You feel in its images a sense of sunny embrace, a feeling of comfort and leisure and warm sensuality." - Hal Hinson Washington Post
Food Truck: TBC |
