December's Café-Croissant will be held at Hygge at Clifton Bay, 468 Clifton Road, Te Awanga, a great location for a French breakfast with their selection of «croissants». There is plenty of parking and a great opportunity to enjoy the sea views over breakfast.

Saturday 2nd December at 9:30am RSVP to Barbara with the number of croissants by Thursday 30th November It's a great opportunity for breakfast and chat in French, Frenglish or French. 2024 lessons commence 8th February.
We offer 5 levels from beginner to advanced. Existing students will be sent re-enrolment information. If you are interested in lessons in 2024 please refer to the information on our website and register your interest here. The A1 beginner class will be restricted to 12 students in 2024 so we encourage beginners to register your interest early to avoid disappointment. |

Social and Competitive Pétanque
Last Sunday AFHB participated in the Gerard Flaschner Memorial tournament with Napier Petanque. Our competitive and social participants enjoyed a wonderful social afternoon of petanque! Our thanks to AFHB participants and our wonderful hosts Napier Petanque!
For the record Napier Petanque won the competition 6-3, (98 points vs 75). However both Napier and Hastings based clubs are keen for interested AFHB members to get involved on a regular basis. Both clubs offer free tuition, spare boules for use by beginners and 3 free visits before deciding whether to join.
