Here is our fun summer event early in 2022!
Join us for a gourmet picnic in a mystery location.
Dress in bleu blanc et rouge (blue, white and red) and BYO picnic, drinks and picnic gear.
The evening includes dessert, activities, prizes, laughter and interaction!
The mystery location will be unveiled on the day, via text and email.
Suitable for all ages - children, family and friends are welcome.

This will be a “No vaccine pass” required event (assuming we remain as Orange) so numbers will be limited to 50.
Please RSVP early to avoid disappointment.
If we are reclassified to Red, then it will be reclassified as a Vaccine Pass required event and refunds will be given to affected participants.

Lessons start again early on Thursday 10 February at Hastings Girls' High School.

Our AGM will be held on Wednesday 23 February (not Monday 21st as indicated previously).
Under Orange this will be a No Vaccine Pass required event, however numbers must be limited to 50. It will be held at the Latin Dance Club, 39 Marine Parade, Napier. As detailed in our prior newsletter, the new traffic light system (COVID-19 Protection Framework) has a significant impact on our activities, with capacity limits depending on the traffic light colour and whether we operate a My Vaccine Pass requirement. We are seeking feedback from our members via a survey, the outcomes will be summarised and used to formulate a notice of motion for the AGM. Pique-nique Gatsby - le 20 fév
Sunday 20 February 2021 This is part of the annual Art Deco weekend. We are joining this popular free event. Look out for our tent from 1pm on Sunday 20 Feb. Join us in the AFHB French-themed gazebo on the lawn at the Art Deco Gatsby picnic! We will be positioned on the main lawn between the Tom Parker Fountain and the Napier Sound Shell. Dress Art Deco with a touch of French flair and bring some food or drink to share. This is a not to be missed activity! My Vaccine Pass is required for all Art Deco Festival events. Another opportunity to join us for a summer picnic and fun... et voilà! |

Café-Croissant
Our first Café-Croissant of the year will take place on Saturday 5th February at 9:30am
Venue- Cafe at Crosses 2a Raven Grove off Napier Rd Havelock Nth. Join us for delicious coffee & croissants & interesting conversation. Everyone is welcome. RSVP by Thursday 3rd February. A reminder we need to follow any My Vaccine Pass requirements the cafe has. You will be required and wear a mask into the cafe and remove it once you are seated in Orange.
